Haymoon Resort: A Montana Wedding Venue Visit

Haymoon Resort: A Whitefish MT Rest & Retreat

Comfort In The Wild

Nestled in the outskirts of Whitefish Montana the recently renewed Haymoon Resort offers great comforts in the midst of the wild. Mere miles from the mountains and lakes of northwest Montana, you can relax and enjoy an inclusive setting for your family gathering and a beautiful wedding locale with wonderful adventurous getaways nearby to bookend your celebration.

IS IT A WEDDING VENUE WITH ONSITE LODGINGYES!

In fact, it’s primarily lodging with a wedding venue. The resort website offers virtual tours of their cabins, houses and suites. They offer thoughtful touches like extra high ceiling level hooks for long dresses that need to hang, playful regionally themed decor and generous couch space for family gatherings. The grounds are immaculate and inviting with highlights including water fountains in the ponds, horses in the pasture, comfy chairs around the firepit and sparkly magical lights decorating the edges and paths.

Wedding Pavilion

A magnificent space with numerous options for opening the walls/doors/windows to the great outdoors while still providing shelter and an intimate feel. The back patio expands the space for dining and dancing, mere steps away from various lovely ceremony site options.

The host for my venue visit, proprietor and self-described manager Brooke Winrow, was gracious and generous with her time and energy. She’s poured her creative energies into revitalizing this full property and with the tangible support of her family and some family friends, has crafted a true gem. My favorite feature is the bar room that can be used for medium sized gatherings and easily spills onto the lawn and side patio for indoor/outdoor experiences and flowing conversation. Awesome features include her hand-crafted pallet ceiling, mitered bar counter woodwork and the both functional and decorative foot rest along the bottom edge.

For all my Venue Visits you might say:

Wait a minute - It can’t all be this great. It’s too good to be true.

Are there any flaws to this spot?

Sure!  Everyplace has a growing edge or two :)

But I’m not noting those here - I’m all about sharing what works really well.

I’m happy to have a private conversation if you have any concerns.  Email me your questions: audrey@bespokeceremoniesmontana.com
