Snowline Acres: a Montana Wedding Venue Visit

Snowline Acres: A Picture Perfect Wedding Venue in Kalispell Montana

CHILDHOOD FAIRY TALE

Stepping into the grand hall of Snowline Acres in Kalispell Montana is akin to arriving in the majestic ballrooms of your childhood fairy tales. The exposed old-growth wood of the former Kalispell Lumber Company building hugs the gathered group the way the mountains hug our valley, which adds distinct charm and magic to this gathering space - designed intentionally to serve our larger community, our growing families and our celebrations.

WEDDING READY

You are looking for a spot that you can craft into your unique wedding vision, - to make YOUR wedding dreams as a couple come true!  When my husband and I were planning OUR wedding, one of our priorities was to be able to include ALL THE PEOPLE!  We cared less about so many other factors and really wanted to make sure our family and friends could join us and would be comfortable.  Snowline Acres specializes in this!  They can host more than 300 folks and have been really thoughtful about how they set up their space and ways to navigate cost with DIY, offering an a la carte setup for almost every detail.  As an officiant, I can’t wait for the next time I'm in that space - the grand and magical hall of light - to invite your loved ones to shower you and your sweetie with the celebration you deserve.

WINTER

As a venue for a wedding, Snowline Acres' full building and grounds serve up a glorious array of important offerings. When it's a day demanding cozy and intimate space shielded from the snow and winds, this beautiful Montana season is met with their small gathering areas, easily navigated open space and the luxury of dimming lights, generous dance floor, HEAT! (not all venues have this provided) and of course, amazing, dramatic views of the Swan Mountain Range.

MUD/SPRING/SUMMER/FALL

In the opposite season of mud/spring/summer/fall, Montana’s locations always provide another extreme of the predictably unpredictable: lightning, smoke, hailstorm and unrelenting heat. Ready for anything, Snowline Acres  provides those same mountain views with the additional easy access to the fruit tree orchard, open lawn, their smooth and accessible wrap-around patio, frequent rainbow sightings and all the while maintaining the comforts of the indoor refuge.

COMFORT

Though they sometimes fall low on the inventory of assets, the bathrooms, prep kitchen, two bar options, coatroom and ample parking lot are substantial and certainly offer more comfort and support to large family gatherings than most other wedding venues near Glacier National Park, the largest known local competitor as a spot for destination weddings and elopement packages.

IS IT A WEDDING VENUE WITH ONSITE LODGING?  SOON!

As of this writing in April 2022, they are updating an on-property guest house to be made available to guests!

I had the pleasure of touring this venue and was able to gather a few photographs and a bit of video to share a bit more with you.
