West glacier Wedding at Paddle ridge

As a wedding officiant in northwest Montana, I get to experience a lot of classy events involving a grand team of vendor supports for the couple. Kirsten and Mike's wedding at Paddle Ridge in West Glacier Montana was nothing short of a fully joyful and elegant celebration. Their story began years ago, and their journey led them to this stunning venue surrounded by the beauty of Glacier National Park. Everyone worked together to make their festive day memorable and meaningful.

 Incorporating Personal Touches

This western wedding was full of special touches and memorable moments that truly reflected Kirsten and Mike's personalities. From the calfskin rug at the edge of the hill to their two-year-old son Hunter playing a cameo role, the day was filled with unique elements.

The Atmosphere of the Day

The weather was warm and breezy adding to the festive atmosphere of the day. The vibe was a delightful mix of elegance and playfulness, with parents and guests decked out in fancy attire. The ice carved mountains bordering Glacier National Park provided a majestic backdrop for the ceremony itself, which was held directly next to a promising and enticing set dinner table. The slippery calfskin rug added an adventurous touch, making the ceremony even more memorable and a champagne tower greeted the couple immediately following their exit.

Choosing Paddle Ridge

Kirsten and Mike chose Paddle Ridge for its breathtaking views and natural beauty, which perfectly matched their love for the outdoors. The venue provided a stunning backdrop for their celebration, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

What They Wore

Kirsten wore a beautiful boho gown with a long train and her Maid of honor was attentive, constantly helping with the train’s display throughout the cermeony. Mike looked dapper in his suit and bolo tie. Their attire added to the elegance of the day, complemented by the guests' fancy outfits. The color palette was carefully chosen to enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Memorable Moments

One of the standout moments was Hunter, their two-year-old son, bringing the rings down the aisle. Once arriving, he promptly dropped them (accidentally), and they started to roll away, adding a touch of excitement and wonder to the ceremony. Another memorable moment was the endearing movement and gestures of the dad/best man, working hard to find the best view and supports from the “stage”.

  How They Found Me

Kirsten and Mike were connected with me through their wedding planner, Kelsey from Honeybee Weddings. They chose to work with me because they wanted an officiant who could bring a fun and heartfelt touch to their ceremony.
